Route 100 Resurfacing Project (Route KK to Hermann)

What Improvements Will MoDOT Accomplish?

MoODT will resurface the pavement on Route 100 from Route KK in Franklin County to the City of Hermann in Gasconade County.

What are the benefits?

  • After the project is completed, motorists will notice a smoother driving surface during their commute. Edgeline rumble strips will be placed on Route 100 from Route KK to the eastern side of New Haven in order to improve safety for motorists.
  • Sidewalks in the City of New Haven will be made compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

How Will Traffic Be Impacted During Construction?
The project will begin in March 2012 and is expected to be completed by November 2012.

There will be various one-lane closures during this construction. A pilot car will lead traffic back and forth through the work zone.

Resurfacing work between Route KK and New Haven will most likely have to be performed at night. Resurfacing west of New Haven to Hermann can be performed either day or night.

Estimated Project Cost
This project was awarded to Magruder Paving, LLC for approximately $2.5 million.
