No road work is scheduled through the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Some work zones will remain in place in areas and speed limits may be reduced. However, no workers are scheduled to be on the job after 12 p.m. on Friday, unless a highway emergency arises.
Construction and maintenance work will begin after 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29.
For holiday driving, please obey the speed limit, don't follow to closely to the vehicle in front of you, don't drink and drive, plan your trip, think ahead, take breaks and use seat belts and child restraints.
Barry County
- Route 39: One-lane traffic at Table Rock Lake near Shell Knob. Bridge work.
- Route 37 Alternating Passing Lanes/Resurfacing Monett to Arkansas state line: (Completion December 2012)

Barton County
- Route 71: Lane closings in various locations. Installing signs and building emergency crossovers in median.

Bates County
- Route PP: One-lane traffic south of Rich Hill. Pavement repairs.
- Route V: One-lane traffic at Walnut Creek near Foster. Bridge work.
- Route 52 New Bridge: Road closed at Miami Creek four miles west of Butler until early August. Use alternate routes.
- Route 71: One northbound and/or one southbound lane closed at MNA railroad south of Passaic. Bridge work.
- Route 71 Outer Roads: Narrowed shoulders northbound and southbound between the Vernon/Bates county line and Rich Hill. Building outer roads on either side of Route 71. (Completion: December 2012)
- Various state routes: Slow-moving operation and crews and equipment close to traffic. Spraying herbicides to control weeds.
Benton County
- Route F: One-lane traffic near Cole Camp. Laying long patches.
- Route 65 Widening Lincoln to Warsaw: (Completion: September 2012)
RAMP CLOSED: Northbound off ramp from Route 65 to Route 7 in Warsaw closed until the week of May 28 for paving
RAMP CLOSED: Northbound on ramp at Route 65/Truman Dam Access Road interchange closed until the week of May 28 for paving

- Route 14: Slow-moving (8-12 mph) train of work trucks between Elkhead and the Christian/Lawrence county line. Striping. Be alert for flashing arrows on trucks. Slow down. Do not drive on wet paint. Pass only when safe or wait until striping vehicles pull out of the way. Work hours: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dallas County

Greene County
- Route 13: NIGHT WORK - One southbound lane closed in areas between Greene County Route WW and Norton Road in Springfield. Pavement repairs. Work hours: 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday through Friday.
- Route 266 Pavement Repairs/Resurfacing Project:
One-lane traffic in areas between Greene/Lawrence county line and Greene County Route AB west of Springfield. Resurfacing
- Route 60/65 Reconstruction in Springfield:
NEW TRAFFIC SHIFT: Two-way traffic in the westbound lanes of U.S. 60 between U.S. 65 and Glenstone Avenue. Speed limit reduced to 45 mph.
TRAFFIC SHIFT - Westbound Route 60 traffic shifted to eastbound lanes at Lake Springfield bridge east of Route 65.
TRAFFIC SHIFT - Southbound Route 65 traffic shifted to old northbound lanes and southbound-to-
eastbound ramp traffic using temporary pavement.
RAMP CLOSED: Westbound U.S. 60-to-southbound U.S. 65 ramp CLOSED until fall 2012.

- Chestnut Expressway/Route 65 Diverging Diamond Interchange in Springfield:
