News Release - MoDOT Adjusts Bridge Project on Route 79 to Address Concerns

Revised Map with Two Detours

The Sandy Creek Bridge just north of Foley will be replaced this summer.  During construction, Highway 79 will close.  A state detour will be marked on Highways 47, 61 and B.  While the closure date is unknown, it will probably be in late May or June to avoid conflicts with school bussing.  It is expected to be closed up to three months.   More information can be found in the news release.
