Why is MoDOT working on I-35?

MoDOT needs to repair the eight miles of I-35 from the Clinton County line south past Kearney to Fishing River. This portion of interstate is becoming rougher, and the concrete under the asphalt is in need of repair.

In addition 10 bridges in this section of I-35 need to have the bridge deck replaced and other repairs. The bridges repaired include north and south bound bridges at:

• Fishing Creek
• Route 92
• Route 33
• Clear Creek
• Holt Creek
