What is the problem?

Route F is currently an older, 2 lane rural highway within the city limits.  As Oak Grove continues to grow and develop, the roadway has become obsolete.

What is the solution?

The growing area has increased the number of vehicles using the two way road. The proposed solution will widen the road to four lanes with a turn lane creating a 5 lane section of roadway between 13th and 31st Streets south of I-70.  This will minimize congestion and enhance safety along this busy roadway. A designated lane for left turns allows vehicles to safely pull out of the through lanes to make a turn while through traffic continues to move along Route F.
