The City of Oak Grove is growing and much has been developed around existing Route F south of I-70. The current two-lane roadway allows no storage for left turns, which causes blocking of the through traffic on Route F.
As traffic increases, congestion in the area becomes more evident requiring the need for improvements.
The City realized potential issues as the area continues to grow and thrive and approached MoDOT with a proposal to participate in a Cost Share project.
An open-house style public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 18 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Oak Grove Civic Center, 2100 Broadway, in Oak Grove, MO to gather public input regarding the location and design for the proposed project.
