The new third through lane of westbound I-70 beneath I-435 is will close again late this month for about three weeks to for median barrier and overhead sign truss construction. Once that work is completed by mid-October, the third lanes of both eastbound and westbound I-70 beneath I-435 will be open permanently. The ramp from eastbound I-70 to northbound I-435 will close beginning 9 a.m. Monday, September 12, and remain closed until September 27. Read more... |

Bridge maintenance will close the left and center lanes of eastbound I-70 at Manchester from 7 p.m. Thursday, August 25, to 5 a.m. Friday, August 26, and from 8 p.m. Friday to 2 p.m. Saturday, August 27. Northbound I-435 Lane and Ramp Closures Monday Night, Early Tuesday. New highway construction will close various lanes of northbound I-435 at Route 40 from 8 p.m. Monday, August 22, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, August 23. The work also will close the ramps from westbound and eastbound I-70 to northbound I-435 from 10 p.m. Monday to 2 a.m. Tuesday. Read more....

A half-dozen MoDOT construction projects on I-70 from the Downtown Loop to I-470 are significantly slowing traffic during peak periods and will continue through most of the summer.
