Johnson County

Safe & Sound will replace or refurbish 12 bridges in Johnson County in 2011.

Construction begins on Route DD bridge at Clear Creek on March 7. The Route DD bridge on McAdoo Creek will also close in March. Closing these bridges simultaneously will allow crews to do their work quickly and efficiently, and cause the least impact on surrounding communities.

With so many bridges under construction, motorists need to look at the Traveler Information Map before heading across the county's lettered or numbered routes.
