What is the schedule and how is it funded?

The extended Flintlock Road will feature a two-lane road, with a paved bicycle and pedestrian path.  Roundabouts will also be incorporated into the project at Liberty Drive and N.E. 76th Street. 

The project is scheduled to begin as early as next fall and will take approximately two years to complete.

Cost of the improvements is approximately $21.5 million. The majority is paid for by federal funds and the remaining paid for by the City of Liberty and Kansas City.
