Job Summary:
The intermediate
clerk prepares reports and forms, processes documents,
maintains records, and performs other clerical duties. The
position is governed by office and accounting manuals and department
policies and procedures. Responsibilities are performed
under moderate supervision. Ability to read, write, and
perform mathematical calculations as might be acquired through
graduation from high school. Six months of experience with
the department in general clerical positions or 12 months of experience
outside the department in comparable positions. Ability
to input data into computer and generate routine reports.
