U.S. 65 Widening Project

The Missouri Department of Transportation is widening Route 65 to four lanes from south of Route 52 to just north of Route 7 in Warsaw.  North of Lincoln, two additional lanes will be added east of the existing lanes. The new lanes will handle northbound traffic and the existing lanes would be reused as the southbound lanes. Through Lincoln, Route 65 will be widened to a five lane, undivided route with two northbound lanes, two southbound lanes and a center turn lane. South of Lincoln, two additional lanes will be constructed. Several transitions will be used to switch between an eastern widening and a western widening for this portion of Route 65.
